We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Accounts and Finance Supervisor, duties of this position includes;
*Journal entries / book keeping
* Cashier / Petty Cash management
* Accounts Payable function
* Month end processing
* Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
* Ad hoc projects
The successful applicant should have;
* A minimum of 2 years related accounting experience, ideally in a warehousing business
* Australian CA or CPA qualification (or recognised equivalent)
* Excellent communication skills
* A proven track record of presenting financial information
* Ambition and drive to learn and develop
* A strong sense of responsibility, accountability and superior attention to detail
* Exceptional time management and multitasking skills
* The ability to work as part of a team
* Advanced Excel skills
* Own reliable transport
