移民开贴纪念
其实想去国外已经有很多年的想法了，读硕士的时候考过G，后来因为各种原因没有申请留学。小孩已经快小学了，为了小孩有个更好的成长环境，我决定考虑移民，就把8/10/11作为我的战斗开始的日子吧！！！<br />

本人：计算机学位，学士硕士博士；近8年通信工作经历（今年10月份8年，所以应该算8年吧？！），软件工程师2年，系统工程师4.5年，产品经理1.5年。<br />

准备了一周，看了一些帖子，也和几为战友聊了聊，但是还是有不少的问题。我会在后面发些问题问问大家，希望各位大侠能够鼎力相助！
年龄三十分的话（25-32岁），博士20分，八年技术经验15分，就已经65分了，恭喜你。
如果楼主超过32岁了的话，楼主就需要雅思4个7，或者是州担保……

谢谢前面朋友的讨论。
如果工作满8年，又是博士，年龄还在32以下。。。难度相当的大 ：）。我已经在32-39这个年龄段了，所以v2rain说的对，要么47，要么州担保。。。当然，如果爱人也能通过基本要求，也可以加5分。我现在基本锁定在175和176，如果英语不能拿下47，就考虑176。因此，在职业评估阶段，我还得注意sol是否存在可能的州担保。
现在有几个问题想咨询或者讨论下：
1. 先办理职业评估还是先考雅思？我感觉考46应该问题不大，关键是47，心里没有底。上周自己做了个测试，使用剑8。做了一套题，听力和阅读。成绩接近7（但是也许我评分比较松，对大小写等不严格）。口语嘛，我感觉问题不大，平时用的还是比较多，可能最让人担心的就是作文。似乎工作上的英语邮件和报告对雅思写作帮助不大？！如果对自己英语有信心，可能先职业评估，在等待消息期间准备雅思；如果对自己没有信心，先考雅思，在准备职业评估？？！！
我自己倾向于：先职业评估，职评等待中准备雅思；这样，即使雅思不能47，也可以考虑州担保。总的一句话，这样做的目地就是缩短整个周期。
2. 昨天和战友讨论到475，我碰到一个问题：就是如果是475，要2年才能拿到pr。那么还需要多久才能入籍呢？
3. 是不是每年都可能有新的政策？政策变化的频度大吗？
4. 工作的时间长短应该也是在职业评估的时候给出的，对吧？我要10月分才工作满8年，如果职业评估申请在8月，在10月份后才有结果，是不是就意味着我有8年了？
5. 如何知道每个occupation需要的名额数呢？或者说大点，如何看ACS和EA的名额数呢？
根据我的工作经验，似乎下面两个都可以，可能263311更接近点；但是想到EA需要先雅思，所以我又倾向于ACS 261112。大家给参谋下？

Telecommunication Network Engineer, EA.
Tasks Include:
• planning, designing, building, configuring and commissioning telecommunications devices, networks and systems, such as voice, radio, two-way, data, microwave, satellite and digital data systems, and ensuring telecommunications systems interconnect with equipment from different manufacturers, service providers and users
• compiling engineering project proposals to define goals, identify scope, background and need, and ascertain cost of equipment, parts and services
• evaluating and procuring new products and services from vendors
• ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures in the provision of telecommunications systems
• selecting and developing new telecommunications sites by locating sites, filing documents, drawing up documents for approval, drafting construction drawings and following through to approval
• determining appropriate configurations of telecommunications hardware and software, ensuring desired performance of telecommunications equipment
• preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment

大多数的州担保也要四个七以上，所以， 难度不小，看你的决心了，配偶如果能加分就更好了
以楼主的经历，职业评估一点问题没有。关键是雅思，四个七不是那么容易的。
申请EA 263311好，首先EA的职业评估是终身有效的，其次很多州政府愿意担保工程师，最后你的博士学位必须通过EA的高学历学位评估才可以为你加20分。
