维州给回信了，好像是从定居开始算起，大家帮着分析分析。
Thank you for keeping us informed of you migration plans.  So long as you meet your visa requirements we are not concerned with regard to when you arrive and in many cases migrants do validate their visa and return when they have finalised their migration plans.  The commitment expected of you is that you will inform us when you arrive to settle and that you remain in Victoria for the first two years after your settlement.

We wish you all the best for the move and look forward to hearing from you when you arrive to settle in Victoria.

这个看，是决定定居就要连住三年。

不过中间肯定可以回国的， 又不是坐牢。


都2009年，这么多人过去了，   肯定有确切答案的.....

谢谢lz的分享,我也有同样的疑问.这下就比较清楚了.
根据维州的回信看,应该是从长登(即settlement)算起的头两年.激活visa不算.

我顺问一句，那475也是从长登(即settlement)算起的头两年吗？而不是从.短登激活visa时算起不算.
