新人请教关于工程经理的职业评估



刚来论坛，请教各位，这里有申请engineering manager的吗？这个职业评估是否较难，需要什么样的条件呢？<br />
36岁，mba硕士学历，500强管理经验5年+，雅思4个六有机会吗？

Before you make a decision about your nominated occupation you should note that Engineering Manager is a high level executive position which involves strategic policy and planning decisions for an organisation.&nbsp;&nbsp;Refer pages 4 and 46-47 of the attached booklet.&nbsp;&nbsp;You need at least three years experience at this level.

Also note that Engineering Manager is not an engineering occupation.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is a management occupation and has a different set of competency elements.

For assessment as an Engineering Manager you would need to submit a Competency Demonstration Report with Career Episodes that describe your management experience (not engineering).&nbsp;&nbsp;Letters of reference clearly indicating a senior management/executive role would need to be provided.&nbsp;&nbsp;Organisational charts are also required.&nbsp;&nbsp;These charts would need to show that persons who report to you also have a management function.

时间上是慢了点。

AIM的工程经理是嘛？要求很高。类似于中国企业的总监级别。
首先要直接向总裁或者总经理汇报，其次手下要有3+个直接向你汇报的经理，这些经理手下还要有员工，不能是光杆司令。这些条件满足了，还要看你的工作内容。总之难度很大。
