Part 1: Basic requirements<br />
If your nominated occupation is an occupation listed on the Specified Trade Occupations list (available from www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/ pdf/specified-trade-occupations.pdf), you must provide evidence that you have been in paid employment in that skilled occupation for at least 12 months in the 24 months immediately before applying. <br />

我的确有24个月中12个月的带薪工作经验，但有一个问题，12个月带薪工作只要是一周工作大于20小时的工作就可以，对么？<br />
另外，这个工作经验必须是被提名的工作？我的职位的确是被提名的，mechanical engineer，但我这12个月工作经验中，虽然职位也是mechanical engineer，但一部分工作内容跟提名职业所被描述的工作内容贴的不是很近，这个行么？<br />

this period of employment must have been accrued when you were in the workplace. This includes any extended paid leave such as maternity or other family leave.
