看了那么多指导书,觉得模板什么的都是太教条。
没有内容或者少有内容,最后僵硬的套模板,导致前后词不达意的不连贯,文章拿不到高分也不少见了。
题目
Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extend do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?

我的习作
As the economies have been developed in fast paces, a range of complicated problems have inevitably raised. Amongst those, traffic issues as well as public pollution problems have attracted most attention. Some people believe it is the proper way to solve these problems by increasing the price of petrol, which, I think, might work in a certain domain but cannot resolve the problems thoroughly.

Petrol pricing adjustment might resolve the traffic issue, as it was expected that increasing the driving cost may stop people driving the cars. Increasingly high cost of using their own cars may push the people to the public transport system, but this could only apply in the some personal domains, where people could choose to drive or not to. While most business entities need to use their vehicles to operate daily business, increasing transportation cost could only result in increasing of the operating burden that might be heavy already. Even in the persona domains, people with busy daily schedule will not choose the public vehicles with the reason that public services could not fulfill their needs of fast transportation. Wealthy people, of cause, will not as well, as petrol costs have little impact on them.

Furthermore, traffic problems are not merely due to large number of the vehicles, but it also includes some human factors. One research in China shows that fifty percent of the traffic jams are due to unregulated driving behaviors, which causes the high incentive of car accidents, thereby causing the more prevalent traffic jams.

Regarding pollution, it includes not only the air pollution caused by traffic emissions, but it also includes those produced by modem industries, such as water contamination by a chemical plant. It also covers later scale contaminations, such as nuclear pollutions. One recent example was the nuclear contaminations caused by Tsunami in Japan, which is not related to the carbon emissions at all. Even for the traffic emission pollution, reducing the number of running cars is not always the effective way. Different vehicles emit different mount of and variety kind of contamination substances. Usually the big vehicles such as buses contribute more in pollution, comparing to family cars. Even they are the similar in size, they may be dramatically different in terms of pollution amount and poisonous composition, due to technology issues.

To resolve traffic issue and the pollution cased by it, first of all, a convenient and effective public transportation system should be established, so as to attract people to use, thereby reducing the number of vehicles on the road. Second, government has obligation to educate public to drive politely. Last but not least, it is important to invent more efficient engines which consume less petrol and emit less. For this, government should not only encourage the car vendors to produce more environmental friendly cars, but also subsidize the end user who uses the high efficient cars, which is usually in high expense. To resolve other pollution problems, it might be out of scope of this essay.

Reflecting the past two decades, there has been a debate about solutions over issues regarding traffic congestion and atmosphere pollution due to massive car use. While it may be true that more expensive petrol price would force people to choose other alternatives, it could not solve the problem completely as many experts predict.
According to the data from International Transportation Committee(子乌须有的机构), 50% incidents related to traffic congestion were solved in Sweden by increasing public transport investment in 2010.
