Five points can also be claimed for those where the primary applicant’s partner satisfies the threshold criteria for a visa.<br />
To claim partner points the primary applicant’s partner will need to meet the following criteria:<br />

•nominate an occupation on the same SOL as the primary applicant, and be assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the occupation<br />
•have competent English<br />
•have been employed in a skilled occupation for at least 12 months in the 24 months before the application is lodged, or completed the Australian Study Requirement.<br />

b、雅思4个6；<br />
c、通过SOL中的某个职业评估，并依此作为配偶的提名职业；<br />
d、提交申请前的两年中，至少累计有12个月从事提名职业的全职工作。<br />

英文原话是skilled occupation,应该指技术工作非 提名职业吧？<br />
<br />
若如此，那如果副申以机械工程师评估，然后近两年工作非机械工程师也是OK的，只要是技术类工作。<br />
