人们都希望公共交通越便宜越好，最好是免费的。 
People wish that public transportation could be the cheaper the better, preferably free. 
 
一个是“越便宜越好”这样写是否自然 
一个是最后补语“最好是免费的”这样表达是否合适

顾家北在范文里把send gifts / give gifts改为了exchange gifts。其实以外国人的习惯，一般就是交换小礼物，但是在国内的习惯下，有时候亲戚同事之间还不是小礼物的级别，也不是当场互赠，商场官场上更可以算作单向行贿了。 
这个怎么破？

cheaper 有廉价的意思质量差。建议用慎用，要用就上less expensive。
一般人我不告诉他。
