根据报道，孙杨将参加8 月 25 日至 8 月 28 日在合肥举行的全国夏季游泳锦标赛。目前票务网站显示，8月25日上午预赛和晚上决赛的票，已全部售罄。

当然也有质疑者，认为32岁的孙杨老了，无法继续回到精英水平。
这次全国夏季游泳锦标赛，有消息称，孙杨只报名了400米自由泳的比赛。2012年的伦敦奥运会，他拿到了400米自由泳的冠军，结束了长达4年3个月的禁赛，恢复训练也只有4个月左右的时间，想见证孙杨这次比赛王者归来难度恐怕不小，但无论如何，对他来说，这是回归的第一步，希望有好的开始。
