864父母移民在国内的无刑证明

今天收到补料的邮件，要求要中国的无刑证明扫描件。原文如下：

Provide a scanned copy of the original police certificates for:
姓名 ××× （出生年月）
Please ensure that it is a scanned copy of the current police certificate.

Documents in a language other than English must be accompanied with an English translation from an authorised/accredited translator.

老人家是onshore办理的，之前在国内的派出所开了证明然后去公证处出具公证件。公证件里没有派出所证明的复印件。
问题：
1. 我还真忘记了无刑是怎么样的了：是公证处直接按照派出所证明开具，还是公证处把派出所证明复印并翻译再开具？
2. 如果真要找回派出所的原来的证明文件（公证处在办理时已经收走了，应该是归档），是要去公证处让他们扫描吗？可以国内亲友代办吗？有没有筒子有这方面的经验？
