About the Opportunity
Due to the successful growth in our clients company and internal re-organisation; they are excited to be on the search for an experienced Care Manager.
This is a permanent full time opportunity located in Sydney’s inner south west region.
The function of this position will ensure the delivery of best possible standards of nursing and personal care to residents through the direct supervision and management of facility staff. This will be achieved by monitoring and managing documentation efficiencies for individual needs of the residents whilst supporting the ACFI category identified for the residents to achieve optimal funding.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach the Care Manager will co-ordinate and manage the provision of care (assess, plan, implement and evaluate) and monitor complex clinical nursing procedures for all residents within the facility in collaboration with the Manager Clinical Practice.
Selection Criteria
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate;
- Registration with APHRA as Registered Nurse Division 1. (No Restrictions)
- Minimum five experience in residential aged care as a Registered Nurse
- At least two years in a managerial role of a similar nature within aged care
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team of RN’s, EN’s and personal carers
- Demonstrated knowledge of ACFI and aged care accreditation standards
- Sound communications skills, both written and verbal
- Current police check or ability to acquire
- Current Immunizations checks
- Updated First Aid and CPR or ability to acquire

Highly Desirable
- Speak a community language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean

Salary and Benefits
Salary is paid $80,000 - $90,000pa plus super. Located centrally to Sydney; work within a great culture with career advancement pathways.
