Sonder Australia is recruiting for full-time Sonder Support Centre Operators, based in Surry Hills, Sydney. As Sonder Australia is focused on providing support services to Chinese international students, we are specifically recruiting for people with Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking and writing ability, in addition to fluency in English.

Position description – Sonder Support Centre Operator

The role of the Sonder Support Centre Operator (SSCO) is varied and rewarding, acting as the first line of response to help clients who have made a request for assistance. Based in our Sydney office in Surry Hills, SSCOs deal with a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency requests under the guidance of our Support Centre Managers, and regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the client. SSCOs are the backbone of Sonder Australia and in addition to dealing directly with our clients, also provide input into Support Centre processes and functionality. Remuneration is negotiable on a case-by-case basis based on the candidate’s level of experience, but are at competitive market rates.

Hours of work

Successful candidates can expect to work on a full-time basis across a 24/7 shift roster.
