陈法拉于2020年参演了漫威电影《尚气与十环传奇》及大制作《哥斯拉大战金刚2：帝国崛起》，最近她更在Netflix电影《The Ballad of a Small Player》跃升为女主角， 与金球影帝科林·法瑞尔及奥斯卡金像奖最佳女配角蒂尔达·斯温顿合作。





陈法拉前日（25日）在社交平台发帖，并以英文写道：“这是《The Ballad of a Small Player》的完结篇！永远感谢我认识美丽的人。”她贴出跟台前幕后的合照，见到科林·法瑞尔搂着她合影，旁边是导演及蒂尔达·斯温顿。


其他照片陈法拉也与剧组人员相处融洽，打成一片，她又大赞维港景色一绝：“世界上很少有地方能比得上美丽的维多利亚港的全景。”





《The Ballad of a Small Player》改编自同名畅销小说，由奥斯卡最佳外语片《西线无战事》的德国导演爱德华·贝尔格执导，故事讲述一名面对债务困扰的赌徒，历尽沧桑后决定于澳门定居，其间遇上一位有机会拯救他的人。


陈法拉曾表示：“这次所演的角色在情绪上比较复杂，要分外用心下点苦功，对我来说也是一个新挑战。”
