In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care.

Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family?

Nowadays, as aging population, a host of people prefer go to live in a home with other ones where there are nurses to take care of them. Based on this situation, a discussion on who should pay for this expense is in full swing.



Obviously, the government is the top-priority which should take responsibilities. Firstly, due to citizens are all tax payers and pay the insurance during their career. On the other hand, based on contributes to society they made and the government had set special funds to awards them, do not you think it is reasonable that spend the money on this case? In China, the government pays this expense in two parts. First, grant the age pension. Fifty per cent of it need pay the bill for nursing and rest of it for living cost. Second one is special allowance which pays for the rest of charge.



In the meantime, family also has compelling obligation especially their children. It is deeply understood that not only they bring us happiness but also spent a lots of energy on us. No matter which kind of culture is, it is recognized that respect and support parents are virtues we love to. They can enjoy their reaming time with comfort and happiness is our best wishes. Recently, more and more people prefer pat extra money to make their parents better living. According to result of one investigation which for the rate of how many children pat extra health insurance fee for parents are keep increasing.



Because of both the government and family are struggle for old people’s benefits, why do not they share the expense amongst them?



Nowadays, more and more elders prefer live in a nursing home as it is the place where  someone can take good care of them. As the charge of it is not cheap, a discussion on who should pay for this expense is in full swing.



Some individuals believed that the government should take the full responsibilities. They have their reasons for sure, but in this case, I would like to emphasize that the family is also obligated the aged.



It is an undoubted fact that the government must take the responsibility of looking after senior citizens. Firstly, they are all taxpayers, meanwhile, they paid the health insurance. Therefore, it is reasonable that older people have a great return. Secondly, it is true that those elders had contributed to the nation and the government had set a special fund of awards them. So there is no reason for does not invest in this by governments. In China, the state has taken the action. The expenses are split into two parts – invested in the age pension with fifty percent of it and sponsored living cost for the rest.



In the meantime, the family also has a compelling obligation to finding ways to make their grandparents live better. The memories we have is that all joys and their payments. No matter which kind of culture is, respecting and supporting family members who we love is the things we love to do. Otherwise, the most important is that we have a legal obligation to support our parents.



To sum up, since the government ought to return elders as they had invested in their senior-living and the family obligates older people to taking care of them legally, I am convinced that we could offer elders a fulfilling life if both of them take these responsibilities at the same time.
