When you submit an EOI, you advised that it is a criminal offence to provide false or misleading information on your EOI. The system will ask you to provide reference numbers for your English language test and skills assessment, but will not validate this information before you submit your EOI. Your claims on your EOI will be used as part of your visa application if you are invited to apply. You will be required to provide evidence of your claims with your visa application.
There is no advantage in falsifying information in your EOI in order to receive an invitation. There is a criterion in each of the new invitation based visas, which requires the claims made in your EOI to be at least of the same standard as those in the application, regardless of whether the pass mark is met. We remind all intending migrants interested in submitting an EOI that if you provide misleading or false information on your EOI, your visa application will be refused. If your visa is refused on this basis you will be subject to a three year ban which may prevent grant of a further visa.
