“跳水皇后”郭晶晶退役多年，却仍是焦点人物，尤其是本次巴黎奥运会，郭晶晶以国际裁判的身份打分，一举一动都被几十亿观众围观。

郭晶晶在巴黎的这半个月，霍家几乎全员出动，如公公霍震霆、小叔子霍启山，还有丈夫霍启刚及三个子女都在巴黎，一大家子为国出力，备受好评。
对于郭晶晶的表现，公公霍震霆在8月21日接受港媒采访，一脸骄傲。
有记者采访霍震霆，问他如何评价郭晶晶做裁判的表现，霍震霆笑不拢嘴表示跳水是中国的强项，郭晶晶担任裁判，老爷子本想和她一起在巴黎吃饭，但郭晶晶每天都说很忙，所以他们一家子竟然没时间聚一下，只能通过电话交流，笑称郭晶晶一定很认真才会那么忙。
霍震霆没有埋怨的意思，而是肯定郭晶晶和支持她的工作，表示其实在巴黎的时候也没时间和孙子一起看比赛，只能私下准备了公仔，想着送给他们，结果回来后也没见上面，只能再找时间。
最近不少云南的网友爆料，在大理偶遇郭晶晶和霍启刚，原来他们回来后就去了大理度假，不仅带上三个子女同行，郭晶晶的妈妈及婆婆朱玲玲也一同现身。
还有网友爆料“老霍”在现场，如今看来这个人指的不是霍震霆，而是霍启刚。
事实上，霍震霆最近很忙，8月21日和香港选手一同坐大巴巡游，闹出不少笑话。
主办方邀请了包括江旻憓、何诗蓓等多位选手坐敞篷大巴游行，但没有考虑到车速及大风的问题，让英姿飒爽的女将们吃了一路的风，个个头发凌乱，仪态尽失。
作为港协暨奥委会会长的霍震霆坐在前排的位置，被网友笑称是“破风选手”，只能说幸亏霍老爷子没带假发。虽然闹出了一点笑话，但港队选手还是受到市民的欢迎，尤其是“微笑剑后”江旻憓，比港姐还要火，一举一动尽显可爱。
78岁的霍震霆幸亏自备了梳子整理发型，为了奥运忙到现在，属实不易。
