The role:
Smarloan requires a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. We need people to manage our accountsand ensure business meets all taxation obligation. With solid knowledge andmulti-language ability, prefer mandarin and Cantonese in economic market. You will have broad responsibilities across financialaccounting and management reporting. You can look forward to taking aleadership position within the team with exposure to commercial areas of thebusiness.

Your will be experienced in:

·       Invoicing

·       Accounts Reconciliation

·       Accounts Payable

·       Payroll & PAYG

·       Quarterly BAS

·       Financial Reporting &Financial Forecasting

·       Month end processes andinter-company reconciliation

Experiencewith international accounting and grant applications would be advantageous.

Your responsibilities will include:

·      Preparingstaff payroll, including commissions, PAYG

·      Processingaccounts payable and accounts receivables

·      Performingmonthly and quarterly cash and non- cash reconciliation of funds andinvestigate difference from reconciliation

·      Preparingaccounting reports including GL, P&L, Balance sheet, payroll and TAXreconciliation with notes using MYOB accounting system

·      Maintainingaccounting system i.e. MYOB and internal control systems

·      Preparingand lodging tax reports including BAS, GST and tax returns

·      Conductingfinancial investigations, analyzing income and cost integrity and forecastingCash flow budgeting

·      Meetingwith clients and referral partners to discuss/review finance possibilities toprovide an outstanding customer service experience.

·      Assistwith gathering and compiling of client information in preparation of financeapplication

·      Assessingapplications and ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete.

·      Liaisingwith clients, financial institutions and brokers to build effective andproductive working relationships.

·      Variousadministration and office duties  

·      Performad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified, with a minimum of 1 yearexperience in a similar role in financial accounting. Essentially you haveworked in a small to medium sized company. You will have strong technicalaccounting, are highly motivated; you are passionate about what you do and youhave been responsible for producing the financials for the company. You willalso have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to present financialinformation to a wide audience.

Inaddition you will be self-motivated, reliable and have the ability to workunder pressure. You will have the personal and professional presence,integrity, business ethics and credibility to represent Assure in a positivemanner at all times and positively contribute to the Assure operating culture.
