周四下午，一架小型飞机在北柳府坠毁，机上9人全部罹难。当局称，飞机上有五名乘客为来自香港的，另有两名空中服员及两名机师。五名来自香港的游客，其中两人是小童，分别12岁及13岁。

据美联社报道，泰国民航局宣布，周四下午一架飞机原计划前往达叻府的小型客机，从首都曼谷机场起飞后不久坠毁，机上九人已全数罹难。根据泰国媒体通报，救援人员在距离机场约 40 公里的北柳省红树林沼泽发现飞机，现场没有发现幸存者。

省政府发言人表示，经过大约一个小时的搜索，救援人员在沼泽地带发现了尸体残骸。发言人表示，其中包括五名来自香港的中国游客、两名泰国女机组人员以及两名泰国飞行员。

中国驻泰国大使馆引述泰国当局称，确认有五名中国公民在事故中身亡。
