大阪府知事吉村洋文在当天的例行记者会上呼吁：需求紧迫，没必要放在仓库里睡大觉。

现在，大阪府的零售店铺持续性“买不到大米”。根据大阪府于上星期进行的紧急调查，得出“8成店铺正在发生大米断货”的调查结果。

对此，大阪府决定向农林水产省要求动用政府储备粮，进入零售店铺流通，以期改善现状。

记者会上，知事也呼吁大阪府民们“9月新米上市，望冷静消费”。
