Basedin Preston and reporting to the Executive Manager in Preston, we’re looking foran ex trades’ person with some experience in plasterboard or building industry to change their career to Business Development where it offers faster pace andmore self-controlled results.
We need a sales person who want to make their mark by being friendly and influential to successfully drive the business forward. You will be well suited to this position if you thrive on a fast paced environment developing business goals and drive to achieve sales targets. Responsibilities for this role includes: Ø Provide sales quotes and estimates then follow up with customers to convert quotes into sales Ø Identifying new business opportunities Ø Building and maintainingrelationships with customers through after sales follow-up Ø Developing strategic business relationships and networking opportunities to ensure long term business relationships are maintained Ø Manage customer accounts through proactive project anticipation and provide solutions
Key requirements include: Ø A positive 'can-do'attitude Ø Minimum 3 years’ experience in the building/ construction industry Ø Strong negotiation skills Ø Exceptional people skillsfor networking and building relationships Ø Sales driven with a desire and commitment to achieving targets and KPI’s Ø Strategic mindset and strong communication and negotiation skills Ø Experience with reporting and use of Microsoft Office Ø A valid Australian driver's license Ø Ability to speak a second language (Chinese Mandarin) will be highly regarded
This is a permanent full-time position and we anticipate this role to commence in February this year. The role comes with an attractive remuneration package including base salary of $65-$75k depending on experience, mobile phone, super,vehicle allowance and incentive scheme.
