Sales Representative (Part Time)
The Company
BitPay was founded in 2017, while Bitcoin is at its peaks. We believe the potential for bitcoin to revolutionize the financial industry, making payments faster, more secure, and less expensive on a global scale. We started BitPay because we wanted to make it easy for businesses to accept bitcoin payments. We are currently the first bitcoin payment processor in Australia, serving industry-leading merchants on all major cities. We've created a seamless, secure bitcoin payment experience used daily by thousands of bitcoin users.
The Role
This role requires a confident and well-presented professional who will be fluent in Chinese and English. Applicants are expected to take up the challenge of driving growth across both new and existing customers. You will maintain excellent relationships with all customer whilst ensuring a responsive service.
In this diverse role your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Representing Bitpay with positivity and enthusiasm Trading stories with your fellow teammates on qualifying leads and target pitches that have the highest success rates Setting meetings and booking appointments for senior level staff; ensure seamless client communication throughout initial discovery phases High volume of outbound sales calls, emails and social media outreach to targeted companies and contacts within them Performing research on latest news in the B2B commerce space in order to stay informed industry trends and identify potential leads Raise any recurring issues with management to assist with product and process improvements
The Candidate
Essentials · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English and Chinese · A superb phone manner with a clear, articulate speaking voice · The ability to build rapport with our customers and resolve their complaints and support issues in professional manner, ensuring they all receive first class service · Patience to deal with customers who are ‘less sensitive’ to financial information · Superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment · A vibrant and self-motivated personality, and can-do attitude · Strong ability to utilize surrounding resources in terms to meet sales goal Desirable: · A tertiary qualification in Finance, Marketing, Business or related disciplines · Experience in B2B Sales and office environment · Basic understating of Bitcoin, Digital Currency, Blockchain Tech and Forex policies
