Our accounting firm provides services from bookkeeping to accounting services and we are currently looking for an additional team member.

The position calls for a tax accountant with a minimum of 5 years working at a senior level. CPA Qualified. (Flexible hours available to the right candidate).

Interacting closely with the office manager, you will be working independently providing a wide range of business and taxation services for an assorted client base of SME's. In addition, you will be involved in tax planning, research of various taxation issues.

The successful candidate will have the ability to take a job from source data to producing financials and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and self-managed super funds.  An understanding of all facets of the tax accounting process is mandatory, as is applied knowledge of current tax legislation.  

An exceptional eye for detail and self-review skills are imperative to ensure work output is error-free.  Proficient computer literacy as well as various accounting platforms including MYOB, and Xero will be expected.  

Excellent written skills will also be highly regarded.

A starting salary of $45k-$55k plus super will be awarded appropriate to your qualifications and experience
