Immigration SA is developing an online system that will make applying for state nomination and RCB ‘advice’ from South Australia an easier process with enhanced functions.
The new look website and online application system will be available for use mid July 2012.
In the interim, the process for application submission by program is provided in the information below.
Regional Certifying Body – Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)
Hard copy applications will be accepted by Immigration SA until the new online application system is available.

A new Regional Certifying Body Application Guide for Employers associated with the RSMS program will be published on this website effective for applications submitted to Immigration from 1 July.

The current Regional Certifying Body Application Guidelines for SA Employers associated with the RSMS program will not be applicable for applications submitted after 30 June.

From 1 July RCB advice is required for nominated positions which are:

made under the Regional Sponsored Direct Entry Stream
located within South Australia.
within ANZSCO Skill level 1-3.

State Nominated General Skilled Migration Program
Online applications will reopen on Monday 2nd July at 5pm (South Australian time). Please note Immigration SA will be moving to a complete online elodgement system in July. Further details about the new system will be published on the Immigration SA website in the near future.
From 1 July, the first step in the application process is to lodge an EOI through the SkillSelect website. In your EOI, please choose "SA" only and the relevant state nominated visa subclass (subclass 190 or 489).
After lodging the EOI, you should apply online to Immigration SA for state nomination. You will need your EOI ID to submit your online application with Immigration SA.

The State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL) – 2012/13 program year is now available for viewing.

The introduction of SkillSelect affects all state nominated visa subclasses, including onshore students. Applicants who would have previously lodged under visa subclasses of 886/487 (onshore) and 176 / 475 (offshore) will need to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) under the new 190 (permanent) or 489 (provisional) visa subclasses.
Please note all approved state nomination applicants from 1 July 2012 will be nominated through the SkillSelect System.  Once you have been nominated by Immigration SA you will receive an invitation from DIAC to lodge your visa application.
