The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is experiencing a 'Distributed Denial of Service' which is impacting on website performance and availability. Should you experience access or availability problems, please try again later.
The department is endeavouring to minimise any impact on our clients and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Note: A 'Distributed Denial of Service' is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users, in this case the department's website.
One common method involves saturating the target website with an unusually high volume of requests, such that it cannot respond to legitimate requests, or it responds so slowly that it is ineffective to its users
