It is wrong that our government pays more money to the artist projects, for instance, there are more and more paintings and sculptures appearing at the public places, because there are more important things to do. What is your opinion?

It is common to see vast number of artificial projects like paintings as well as sculptures when people is wandering urban streets, and it has caused heated argument recently. Some people believe our government has invested too much in them, and there are some more important areas that are still weak and needs improvements with the investment. Personally, it is worthy to allocate appropriate proportion of overall governmental incomes to those artist projects.
There are multiple reasons why I believe that it is worthy to strengthen artificial items. Out of the multiple reasons, the obvious one should be that the artist items not only help improving the urban scenes, but also promote the cultural diversity. On the other hand, it also helps increasing the opportunities in job market since those projects need more human powers to fulfill. Last but not least, the artificial items might introduce more incomes for local authorities regarding the reality that the vast number of those items become tourist attractions. All the factors mentioned above are telling us that artificial projects are worthy for being invested in.
On the other hand, it is not denied that the minority of governments have spent too much on artist projects. According to a survey released recently, there are 10% of urban governments have allocated 20%, or even more of their overall incomes to those projects, that was regards as being inappropriate from my personal view since there are still more important areas, which are related to our daily life as well, needs more investments.
In conclusion, I do believe that it is worthy to put appropriate proportion of incomes to artist projects, but the governments also need think about other important areas like education, traffic system, social security etc. It might be the qualified development of society to have a balanced one.
