Public museum and art gallery are not needed because people can see the historical objects and works by using computer.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The contemporary computer and information technologies render people readily access to all sorts of historical heritages exhibitions online. Some accordingly tend to assert that the existence of public museums and art galleries is becoming unnecessary. However, all those modern contrivances can to no extent downplay the roles played by museums and galleries.

For one thing, compared with realistic exhibitions, the on-line access to these antiques and arts could only offer people poor quality for appreciation purpose. As it is known publically, the IT technologies are established on the skills of sampling and compacting, the process during which the visual and audio qualities are remarkably impaired. No wonder given the ubiquitous availability of the counterfeited scripts of 'Mona Lisa', millions of people still visit the original painting in Paris personally.

For another, the premises of the museum are not merely the accommodation places for the subjects, but also provide platforms for professional experts in the field to perform historical or archeological studies. Resources of all aspects to facilitate the analytical or researching projects can be integrated by those establishments' budgets from the government; their outcomes usually enable us either to better appreciate those arts and objects, or to improve the related techniques, such as methods of ancient painting preservation, whilst all these progress in their industries can rarely be acquired through on-line exhibition.

Hence, the conclusion can be drawn out from above views that the advent of IT application in this field should by no means substitute the functions of museums and galleries. It would be better to regard the IT application as the complementary means to the latter.

The computer and the Internet not only have changed the way people communicate but may affected the way people live. One of the telling examples is that some people claim that museums with large collections of objects from the past should be replaced by the cyber ones that may help prevent precious exhibits from being stolen. Reasonable as it may sound, i am not in favour of the points. There are a number of reasons for that.

Firstly, visiting museums has always been a healty way of getting relaxation for people. As one of the popular leisure activities, spending certain time with friends or families at the museum can be an enjoyable experience and it plays a vital role as family meal time does in keeping good relationship between families. Obviously, online viewing exhibits cannot offer as much pleasure as visiting in person.

Secondly, the unique educational and research function of museums and art galleries determine their longlasting existence in the future, As the saying goes" i hear and i forget; i see and i remember; i do and i understand", visitors, especially those younger ones, can learn the knowledge and acquire the hands-on experience by participating in the interactive activities at science museums. Meanwhile, these educational sites can provide experts of certain fields with real objects to perform their studies.

To sum up, In spite of the fact that the online museums can be run with little fund , offer a great deal of informaton for free, and even prohibit any theft of valueless materpieces, they cannot take the place of real ones because of the reasons mentions above. howvever, as an alternative approach , peple still can have easy acess to the wonderful collections of their favourite arts any time they want. Therefore, cyber museums may co-exist with the real ones for a long time.

第一次考的G类, 他怎么写的(btw我是副申, 文章不是我写滴, 哈哈)我也不清楚, 就平常写的还有这篇来说,
他词汇量比我大但是我质疑用的准确性, 还有逻辑/结构方面的话, 不知道是否能说服别人?

不管怎样, 11月27号2鸭去了, 这周末3鸭, 都是A类, 希望RP爆发...
