ANSWER:
The rapid economic growth creates a vast deal of new wealth but it also has led to a growing gap between rich and poor.
Such kind of situation can be found not only between developed countries and developing countries, but also among different social levels.
Therefore, this inequlity should be addressed respectively.
Due to historic reasons, some countries are left far behind others in almost every aspect, especially in terms of science and technology, which have been utilized by the latter to steal enormous amount of wealth from the former. With the globalization, many technic-previliged countries seek to perform apparently unequal trades with lesser-advanced countries, for example, by authorizing a relatively low-end technology to the latter, in return the former are permitted to exploit rare natural resources in their territories with unbelievable low price. In my point of view, this kind of transactions is actually a disguised invasion in the form of economic, which should be held responsible for the poverty in some countries and regions.
I think international aid for poor countries is crucial for mitigating this phenomenon. International organizations, such as United Nations and World Bank, should provide support to them in both technical and financial fields, enabling them to improve infrastructures and strengthen industries, therefor they could be involved in international businesses at an even level.
In addition to above-metioned issues, at a small scale, the wealth gap among different social groups should be attributed to injudicious domestic policies. The weak legal system and useless administration have allowed the greedy capital to grab huge money by manipulating market. In china for example, a lot of companies invest in real estate and compromise the price at an incredible high level, in which case the average-income people have to give out all their saving for one small house. Furthermore, unreasonable taxation system also plays a vital role in widening the gap. Again taking China as an evidence, the 80% revenue of government is from ordinary employees in 2001, which is such heavy a burden for them and leaves them with poverty.
It is a necessity for the government to introduce balanced taxation and enforce administration over marketing, so that the wealth could be redistributed evenly. Otherwise, never could the gap be reduced between the rich and the poor. Governments are supposed to be judicious after all.
