The fiftieth essay and report
Some people think that men and women have different qualities. Therefore, some certain jobs are suitable for men and some jobs are suitable for women. To what extent do you agree or disagree.
Answer:
The difference between men and women is a frequent topic to discussion. In terms of different qualities between men and women, some people believe jobs should be segregated by gender.
As a matter of fact, the different qualities between men and women definitely affected their performances in different jobs before. In terms of physical qualities, most of men are stronger than women. As a consequence, most of men can be competent for heavy physical labour whereas women might hardly adjust themselves to take this kind of jobs. Likewise, women also have their inherent advantages then men. To some extent, women are more patient, careful and circumspective than men. Therefore, they might perform better than men in some occupation such as nurse and so on.
However, as technology has developed rapidly in this day and age, the different qualities between men and women has created fewer effects in various occupations. Increasing labour-saving machinery and labour-replacing machinery can compensate women's strength, thus they also can control the machine to carry heavy things. Furthermore, some scientists have confirmed males and females working together can make employees happier and work more efficient because of effects of hormone. So it seems it is unnecessary to segregate jobs by gender currently.
Summarily, the different qualities between males and females obviously affected their performances in various jobs before. But currently, as technology has developed, the difference has been slight. Additionally, men and women work together can make them happier and work more effective. Because of those, personally, I disagree with segregating jobs by gender.

Report
The graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main feature, and make comparisons where relevant.
Answer:
The line graph describes radio and TV audiences throughout the day in the Britain from October to December in 1992.
According to the line graph, the population of UK over 4 years old watched TV rose before around 8:00 pm and declined after about 8:00 pm. More exactly, at first at approximately 7:00 am about 3% population watched TV. After that, the proportion fluctuated went up to around 15% over about next 7 hours and continued to increase to the highest point at just over 43% around 8:00 pm. Then the line started to dip rapidly until about 5% just under 1:00 am and finally became stable at 5% after around next 5 hours.
As show in the line graph, unlike the TV, the population of Britain over 4 years old listened radio rose before just under 9:00 am and dipped after that time. More precisely, initially, there about 8% population listened radio just over 6:00 am. Then it shot to the peak at roughly 28% around 9:00 am. Finally, the line started to decline stably until around 5% just under 6:00 am.
Therefore, it can be clearly seen from the graph that about 43% population of UK over 4 years old watched TV around 8:00 pm and approximately 28% population listened radio around 9:00 am.
