The role Quest Macquarie Park now has an exciting opportunity available for a Guest Service Agent/Front Office Receptionist to join its team on a casual basis working 1 - 3 days per week.
Theposition involves all aspects of front office reception, including providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales, processing reservations, assisting corporate and leisure guests, and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk.
Reporting to Front Office Manager, the position, apart from the normal Front office duties, involves identifying, attracting and maintaining corporate clients for QuestMacquarie Park and the Quest Group, including identifying and engaging with existing and potential local area accounts, and working with other colleagues in lead generation. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for customer service, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time managementskills, experience with front office booking systems, strong attention to detail, and a high standard of personal presentation.
The ideal candidate Previous front office/reservations experience is essential, ideally in a travel/accommodation/tourism environment. Experience with sales and industry qualifications will be highly regarded. The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. A competitive remuneration package will be offered.
