The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Answer:
The line graph describes the consumption of fish and some different sorts of meat in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
According to the line graph, there are four lines in the graph: chicken, beef, lamb and fish. The chicken consumption in the European country fluctuated increased through those 25 years. More precisely, in 1979, about 140 grams of chicken were consumed. Then, the line grew to just under 250 in 2004. Unlike chicken, the beef line was fluctuated dipped. To be more precise, there around 220 grams of beef every person consumed per week in 1979. After that, the line fluctuated dipped to about 100 grams in 2004. In terms of lamb, like beef, it also fluctuated declined. More exactly, the line started at just over 150 grams in 1979. Then, it fluctuated declined to around 60 grams in 2004. The fish is unlike others, it always stabilised around 50 grams via 25 years.
Summarily, as we can be clearly seen from the line graph that in 1979, the beef consumption was the highest and in 2004, chicken replaced beef to become the highest, whereas fish always was the lowest consumption from 1979 to 2004.

The fifty-second essay and report
Some people believe that there should be fixed pinishments for each type of crime. Others, houever, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Answer:
As crime rate has increasingly high in human society in this day and age, some people think that penalties should be fixed for each type of criminal acts. However, other people discuss punishment decision should take criminal circumstances and motivation into account.
Indeed, fixing penalties might be fairer to some criminals who just committed a misdemeanour. For instance, an offender who committed a petty crime such as stole bread should not be punished stringently. By contrast, a felon criminal or hardened criminal cannot just be educated instead of harsh penalty. Thus, it seems to punish criminals should depend on their criminal acts.
However, criminal circumstances and motivation also should be taken into account. For example, a housewife committed a felony because she has killed her husband. But, it she always live in domestic violence and no one could help her, she should not be punished stringently because it might not be reasonable and unfair. Likewise, a mother participated in a raid just because her children had had nothing to eat over three days. Thus, push this mother to harsh penalty might be cruel.
Personally, I think that to consider how to punish the criminals might not just depend on the types of offences but should synthesise the criminal circumstances and motivation as well. Punishment means that to let people face the mistakes what they have done and reform them to avoid committing again. Since everyone might make some mistakes. Some are slight, some are severe and some are out of their control. Therefore, it is improper that to harsh punish the law-abiding people who committed mistakes due to some unavoidable causes.
Summarily, in my view, as the reason I mentioned above, to punish criminals should consider not only the criminal acts themselves but also the criminal circumstances and criminal motivation.

Answer:
The process diagram illustrates how The Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-date information on the weather for the sake of producing reliable forecasts.
According to the process diagram, in order to broadcast weather forecasts that need through four periods : incoming information, anylysis and forecasting, preparing the broadcast and finally broadcast. More precisely, at first, the incoming information is collected by satellite, radar and drifting buoy. At the next step, experts start to analysise and forecast the weather condition via satellite photo, radar screen and synoptic charts received from satellite, radar and drifting buoy. After that, the weather forecasts information is inputted into computer thereby preparing to broadcast. Finally, the information is broadcast so the public can receive the weather forecasts by TV, radio and phone (recorded announcement).
Therefore, it can be clearly seen from process diagram that how weather information is collected, analysised, prepared and broadcast.

The fifty-third essay and report
Schools should concentrate on teaching students the academic subjects that will be useful for their future careers. Subjects such as music and sports are not useful. To what exent do you agree or disagree?
Answer:
As increasing institutions and individuals have paid much attention to students' education in this day and age, some people think schools should focus on students' academic education for the benefit of their future careers, whereas other subjects like music and sports are useless.
Undoubtedly, schools focus on teaching students the academic subjects definitely can benefit their future career. More precisely, academic subjects can endue students with strong theoretical foundations for the sake of preparing or adjusting themselves to the adaptive phase of future careers rapidly. Likewise, students also might learn new things fast due to their firm academic base acquired by academic education. Additionally, whether graduates can find decent jobs is to some extent depends on their diploma levels and subjects in present-day society. Therefore, academic subjects seem to play a vital role in students' future careers.
However, other subjects such as music and sports are also important to students' future occupations. First and foremost, some students might find their really interests and talent via those subjects. For instance, students who are adept at football or piano might acquire confidence and interests through sports and music courses. Subsequently, those courses might change their future occupational plans and might mould some excellent sports stars and musicians. Furthermore, sports courses can strengthen students' physical qualities and music can mould their character and emotion as well. Those nice qualities are also important to graduates' future careers.
Summarily, academic subjects endue students with firm theoretical academic foundations and they can acquire nice qualities via other subjects such as sports and music. Thus, in my view, I disagree with subjects except academic subjects are useless but both academic subjects and other subjects are all beneficial to students' future careers.

The map below is of the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the town. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket.
Answer:
The map of Garlsdon illustrates two possible sites for a new supermarket for the town.
According to the map, the first possible site is located in countryside and on the north-western border of Garlsdon. In terms of transportation, there are one railway and one main road near the site.
We can see from the map that the second site is situated in town centre. By contrast, although there are three main roads and a railway near the centre, but the centre itself is a no traffic zone.
As shown in the map, theoretically, the second site seems s convenient position because not only can inhabitants of town reach the supermarket easily, but also the customers from the neighboured towns (Hindon, Bransdon and Cransdon) can drive to supermarket via three main roads. But, realistically, the second site lies in the no traffic area. That means all the car cannot drive in this area. Likewise, because of city centre, it might be less parking nearby. In contrast, even though the first site is located in countryside and customers should drive longer distance reaching the supermarket, but there might be sufficient ground for parking. Therefore, the first site is better than the second site to building supermarket.
