第一次写学术性小作文，真不习惯。但感觉比书信好多了，基本上不用动那么多脑子。
相信多写几篇，掌握用词了一定比书信用时少。
The twenty-seventh is reporting
The graphs below indicate the effect of treatment in two type of cancer in females.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Answer:
The line graphs show the treatment effect in two type female cancer —— Alimentary tract cancer and Lymphosarcoma.
According to the Alimentary tract cancer (female), there was two main line in the graph: Cases without treatment and Cases with treatment, and proportion of surviving line indicated all dipped as the augment of years from diagnosis. More specifically, at first there were 100% surviving cases with treatment and around 85% surviving cases without treatment. After one year, surviving cases without treatment plunged to aroung 35% but cases with treatment just declined to around 70%. Eventually, they guadual stabilised at around 20% and around 45% respectively at 3 years from diagnosis.
As shown in the Lymphosarcoma (female), like Alimentary tract cancer, percentage of both surviving line trend to declined as well. They all start at 100% and all plummet to around 30% after more than a year. But the surviving cases with treatment consistently dipped until to 0% at 5 years from diagnosis, while surviving cases without treatment trend to stabilised to 25% at about two and a half years.
Therefore, it can be clearly seen from two line graphs that cancerous persons who without treatment have similar survival rate curve and almost trend to stable after about two and a half years.

eg.1 in order for more people to benefit from the education, be it completing higher education 这里的be it completing...是什么个用法？
这个好像是倒装句， it should be 改成了 should be it , 然后 should 省略了
eg.2 those who are willing to persuade a post graduate studies or start career in academia for which wild range of knowledge might be an asset. 这里的for which可不可以这样用？
knowledge might be an asset for which（which指代前面整个句子，那些想要读研或在学院教书人，这种情况下），然后 for which 提前
另外，persuade可以这么用吗? 我怎么觉得应该用 pursue， 还有 为何是 a postgraduate studies， start career 为何不是 start careers ?

some workplaces tend to a equal number of women and men.
do you think it is positive or negative for the social development？
Answer:
Currently, as increasing workplaces start to keep a balanced number of female employees and male employees, some people argue whether it is a positive societal development or not. In contrast, females certainly own some inherent advantages than male; and giving women employment opportunities equals men's which reflects gender equality as well. Because of those, in my opinion, this is a positive social development.
Fist and foremost, keeping a equal number of female employees and male employees would allow more females to participate jobs. Undoubtedly, workplaces will demand more female employees; these vacant positions enable more women to start their career. As a consequence, they can fairly compete with men instead of tying down by household chores at home. In terms of companies, they would gain their female employees' admiration and honour too, since their decisions have confirmed that they are the protagonists of sexual equality.
Furthermore, women have some inherent advantages than men. Females are, by nature, careful and circumspective. They can complement their male colleagues' shortage thereby finishing their work perfectly. Besides, some scientists have confirmed that male-female equilibrium will make employees more happier and work more effectively due to hormone. Thus, it seems like that to balance count in women and men that is a positive social development.
However, women are always hardly competent to some occupational areas. For instance, women have insufficient strength to adjust themselves to take heavy physical labour. If such factories employ women as men's count, the consequence might be unacceptable. But as technology is developing rapidly nowadays, there will be more labour-saving and labour-replacing machinery in the future. At that time, companies keep a equal number of female and male employees would become reality.
Summarily, because reasons I mentioned above, I believe that to balance number of female and male employees is a positive social development.

Today, in many countries, people hold bigger and more expensive weddings than before. What's your opinion about it? Do you agree or disagree?
Answer:
Currently, people's weddings have become bigger and more expensive than before. In my view, I agree that people spend more money to hold bigger weddings, as consumption are increasingly costly in this day and age; and gorgeous weddings are always play an important role in people's lives.
People always wish that their weddings are only once in their lives and must be brilliant. In particular ladies, holding gorgeous weddings in the future are their beautiful dreams since their childhood. As well as gentlemen, they hope to marry their love ones at perfect weddings thereby expressing loyalties to their brides. Besides, because of world peace and global development, people have been wealthy than before much more. More precisely, they have rights and abilities to fulfil their dreams.
However, some people argue that spending too much money on wedding is a sort of waste. Normally, new couples always have a lot of work to do when they incipiently live together. They must make a concerted effort to build their love nests but those need much money. Holding expensive and bigger wedding certainly spend their important money to fantastic activities instead of real lives. That is why some new couples choose simple wedding or destination wedding for the sake of saving money to build their love nests.
Finally, undoubtedly, costly price of commodities nowadays lead wedding expenditure skyrocket. In other words, the prices of wedding necessities such as renting wedding cars, floriations and wedding feasts have risen. As a result, that cause wedding costs more than before and will continue to rise.
Summarily, it is a trend that people hold their wedding more costly and bigger, because of high prices of commodities, new couples have to choose expansive wedding to realise their dreams. But on the other hand, some realistic couples choose to save their important money for the sake of building their love nests. In my opinion, I prefer to realise my dream, because money can be gain via efforts but wedding just once.
